INJUSTICE AND PREJUDICE: THE SCHOOL JUSTICE SYSTEM
The article you’re about to read is based upon the recent events that transpired at my school. For obvious reasons, the names of some people have been changed, mainly to protect myself from whatever backlash I may receive from them.
For anyone not aware, at the school I attend (the name of which I cannot list, for obvious reasons) has expelled seven students this year, in my year level alone. All of them for fairly minor offences. But this one, which happened very recently, I feel requires that somebody says, does something, or at least acknowledges the injustice that was committed.
A student, who I will call by his nickname; “Kerms”, and his brother in the year level below him, “Boss”, was expelled, for nothing.
No, I don’t mean they committed a minor offence, and no I don’t mean that they weren’t given a reason, I mean that the reason used to justify their expulsion was so shaky, and so ridiculous and warped, that it cannot possibly be the basis for an expulsion.
